In December 2015, Jefferson Cano opened its doors recognizing this very important principle and we operate our law firm with this understanding.

We are experienced litigators. The principal members of our firm formerly practiced together in the business litigation department of a prestigious international law firm where we were privileged to handle some of the most important pieces of business litigation in recent San Antonio history and throughout the state.

We were fortunate and grateful that many of our former clients joined us in our transition to our firm and appreciate the many new clients that have joined us since. With over 120 years of combined litigation experience, we have handled cases across the state, but we are deeply experienced and connected to the San Antonio legal community – judges, lawyers, in-house counsel and the bar associations. Our lawyers have been president of the San Antonio Bar Association, the William S. Sessions Inn of Court, the San Antonio ABOTA Chapter, the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association, chaired the 5th Circuit Judicial Conference, and held leadership positions in numerous other legal and civic organizations.

As a minority-owned law firm, Jefferson Cano is a proud member of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and is proud to be a certified Minority Business Enterprise by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
