After a six candidate Primary election, Steve Allison won the Runoff by a substantial margin and is currently the Republican nominee to succeed Speaker of the House Joe Straus as the Representative to the Texas House of Representatives for District 121. Steve previously served 12 years on the Board of Trustees of the Alamo Heights Independent School District, including 3 terms as President, and, most recently, chaired the District’s successful task force on character education, wellness, and digital citizenship. Steve recently concluded 8 years as a member of the Board of Trustees of VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority, including the last 2 years as Vice-Chairman of the Board.
